RE TEXTIL– Taking sustainable measures to create natural added value
RE TEXTIL Deutschland GmbH is a proven expert in the field of recycling used textiles. Our cutting-edge sorting facility processes several tonnes of shoes and used clothing each day. Here, we demonstrate our company’s particular strength – processing all raw materials into new end products. We base our work on the ‘cradle-to-cradle’ principle – the cyclical usage of resources with production methods to create value – to ensure 100 per cent textile recycling and actively contribute to improving the environment. Our goal: To recycle to the greatest possible extent.
Advanced five-step work method
Step one: Collection by contractual partners
Our partners collect used shoes and clothing from sources such as clothing drop boxes and street collections.
Step two: Delivery/pick-up
The collected recycling material is delivered to our sorting facility in Polch, near Koblenz. We are also happy to pick up used textiles and shoes upon request.
Step three: Pre-sorting
During pre-sorting, we roughly divide used textiles into a number of product categories: usable children’s clothing, men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, cleaning cloths, bedsprings and miscellaneous.
Step four: In-depth sorting
During in-depth sorting, the pre-sorted used textiles and shoes are further sorted into up to 140 categories, depending on the requirement, destination country, season, material and quality.
Step five: Packaging/sale
We send the sorted used textiles and shoes in the desired packaging: plastic bags, garment bags and large or small palletised balls. We work with a global sales network. RE TEXTIL Deutschland exports textile recycling products all around the world.
Our product categories
Respect-Textil Deutschland offers its customers sorting at all desired levels of quality. We distinguish between over 140 types of second-hand clothing and shoes. Our company also supplies industrial players with various types of recycling material and cleaning cloths. Moreover, we can also carry out sorting in line with specific customer requirements.

Our logistics
RE TEXTILDeutschland has its own vehicle fleet of vans ranging in size from small to large. This allows us to quickly and flexibly deliver orders weighing 300 kg to 20 tonnes. We also have a special logistics service for used textiles and shoes. Upon request, we can pick up collected goods from our contractual partners or support your own logistics setup by providing swap bodies.
